BIO
Amber Tsang (she/her) is a young, up-and-coming jazz musician based in Vancouver, B.C. She has earned her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice from Capilano University and recently completed her Bachelor of Education at UBC. Amber is now working as a Teacher-On-Call for the Vancouver School Board. As a young vocalist emerging into the Vancouver jazz scene, Amber combines her classic inspirations such as Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker with her contemporary influences to deliver her fresh take on time-honored standards. Amber aspires to encourage representation and diversity with her music in the Vancouver jazz scene. Ever since a young age, Amber Tsang has found great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process.
